Well, 2008 is just around the corner and things at the Artbook Coalition have been... well... Let's be honest: DEAD. No worries though, I know we're all super busy people, what with jobs, families, bills, and in some cases, art that actually PAYS. :D But since it's been months since the books have brought forth new drawings, I thought it might be time to move them all onto the next artists on the list.
So here's what I'm thinking: if you aren't planning on adding anything more to the artbook you've got, go ahead and mail it to the next artist. To do this you'll need to go into your book's listing (accessible through the main page of AC) and send that artist a message (you can just leave one on their page). If, on the other hand, you are planning on doing something, plan on doing it before the 1st of January. My goal is to get all the books moved during the first week of 2008.
Again, this is no pressure to fill in the books for those of you who just haven't the time--I totally understand! I just know that others are waiting excitedly to get their hands on a book, and they ought to have that chance, especially those who've been waiting for months on a list.
Anyhow, please write back with any thoughts, inquiries, suggestions, reminders, etc. I want this to be enjoyable for us all and not a burden, ya know?
