They were good ideas, I think, but I feel like it's when you have a compliment or something to say, and you try it, and it doesn't come out at all how you intended, and it rather perplexes you. Eh, anyway, I had ideas about what I wanted to convey. I was pretty excited to get the book, and then forgot I didn't know what I was doing.

Oh well, I'll be passing it on (finally) to Michelle on Tuesday.

I have had no time lately to do anything with the shots from Asia that I decided to sketch. So I haven't sketched. I've been spending a lot of time with Elmer's, though. I've been gluing a lot of stuff lately... I washed some glass bottles and took a lot of the word confetti from my other recent projects (see my Flickr) and basically plastered them to the inside of the bottles. I

So i've been working on cleaning out my closet and stuff and found a gouache set a friend gave me. The paints, a cold press block, brushes, pencils, erasers, etc. I never touched it. It's been three years or so now, and I decided I'd rather NOT clean. So I pulled it all out and grabbed a few of my photos from Asia and started playing around. Nothing special, and the results are on my Flickr.
