CONTEST: Postal Masterpiece
So you've been waiting for an Artbook for awhile and you're starting to get a bit antsy, eh? Ansyness begone! Here's a contest to keep them creative juices flowin'. It's called...
1) Get yourself a blank, unlined 4x6 index card. (You can even cut one out of cardstock yourself, so long as it's the right dimensions.)
2) Design the front of it. Whatever you want: draw, paint, collage, etc. Make sure it's got "Arbook Coalition" incorporated in the design, though.
3) On the left hand side of the back of the card, write your name, email, and a title for your work. On the right side, write this in big ol' kindergarten letters:
SEND TO:
AC'S POSTAL MASTERPIECE
2410 CASTLE LANE
MARIETTA, GEORGIA
30062
4) Stick a stamp on the sucker and mail it. (It'll be 26 cents if you're mailing in the US)
And that's it!
Once I get the postcard on my end, I'll upload it to the photos section in a special album titled "Postal Masterpiece Submissions". This is where you guys will rate them (those little stars things that no one seems to use) and comment on the ones you like. On September 1st, 2007, the competition ends, and the postcard with the highest rating wins!
The winner will receive a blank, handmade Artbook from me (only my second one, so don't expect perfection!) and a gift card to Starbucks so they can have a coffee and a pastry while they start their book...
