A man dressed in a suit dies in a room. He sustains no injuries apart from a small cut on his shoulder, and although many people pass by, the body is never discovered.

Is he in a room full of smoke (or some other kind of opaque, noxious gas) in an oxygen suit (the kind designed for people with severely limited immune systems)? The injury on his shoulder is a tiny gash that punctured the suit, causing him to asphyxiate.
This is my m&m-powered conclusion!
