I'm looking for some brand new ideas for artbook themes. Personally I'd like to see more along the lines of "Evolver" and "Mugshot", where one artist builds off of the work of others. I'd also like to see new mediums utilized in the books, like collages, paintings, aerosol, etc.
But that's just me! Thoughts? Suggestions? What would you like to see as the next artbook theme?
Hehehe... I have one. Call it "Epic", basically one artist takes a few pages to tell a story in a comic format, then the next artist builds on the story the characters etc, in whatever way they choose... so on and so on, all the way down the line. When finished, we would have one hell of a unique graphic novel.
But too start out at least a theme and a main character should be established, I dunno' (In my head it seems like a cool idea, but I'm not sure how feasible it is.)
Actually there was an artist on here that was starting that EXACT book in San Francisco with some of her artist buddies there, but I haven't heard from her in months! It is a great idea. I'll send her a message and if I don't hear back I say we go for it.

I stopped working on it b/c I sent you a message w/ some questions and never got a response. Then my semester EXPLODED on me! :) It's almost over now... thank god. x.x
Why not both? If our guidelines are that an artist illustrate one idea, those who want to do a little more than just a single page can opt to illustrate a two-page spread with a single idea... Not sure if that was as clear as it was in my head, but... Make sense?

Oh I thought I was supposed to write the captions at the bottom of the pages throughout the book.. ? XD
