This book was started by Eddie of Atlanta, GA, USA. Here's his inspiration for the book:
"I have a special place in my heart for old school cartoons and I think "mostly" every artist today has grown up watching his or her favorite old cartoon that they remember dearly."
So for this Artbook, Eddie's looking for artists to draw the cartoons they grew up with and were inspired by, but with a twist... These characters must be done in the artist's personal style, not that of the original series!
Think you're up for it?

Thanks to you folks so far who want to be "down" for the old school toons. I really didn't think anyone besides my self (and maybe Victor) would want a piece of the action. *eddie giggles like a small school girl*
When I first read "Old School Cartoons" I thought you were talking about Steamboat Willie, but as long as the 80's fall under the catagory of "Old School", then I'm in!
yeah it's any old school toon you grew up with. I know that i maybe older then some in that sense so my "old school" maybe a little older *sheesh did I just say that* but what ever your age is you have an old school toon you remember when you where like 8 or 10 years old and that was your favorite. so whether it be Steamboat Willie or like Jim B. states the 80's throw down on your toon.
You're in man, and welcome! By the way, I assumed that you're from Houston? I read Houstank, and I can put that if you like, I just thought it might be... I dunno, slang or somethin? Lol.
